After we got back to Dublin from Scotland, we had a week of classes before Spring break officially started! It was a long week of classes, but once Spring break started, it was totally worth it. We had already planned our trip for the break, but we decided not to leave until after St. Paddy's day because we obviously wanted to be in Dublin for that. I didn't do much the first week of break, we went into the city a lot to explore, and did a little shopping. On Tuesday, a few of my friends and I were lucky enough to be able to go to the Beyoncé concert in Dublin. It was by far the best concert I have ever been to. If any of you know how I feel about Beyoncé, it will be no surprise to you that there were indeed tears shed during the concert. That was definitely a highlight of the week (for me at least) and it was the best way to kick off spring break. That weekend, I went back to Galway with some of my friends and we took a tour up to the Cliffs of Moher. The Cliffs were beautiful and we lucked out with the weather, it barely rained at all! We had a lot of fun and got some beautiful pictures. That Monday was Saint Patricks day, so we had some mental preparation to do. St. Paddy's day actually wasn't much different than it is in the states. I've only celebrated it in Boston and being that Boston is so Irish, it was pretty much the same situation. Needless to say, everyone was drunk and wandering around the city watching the parade. All in all, it's mostly just way cooler to say I was in Ireland for St. Paddy's day than anything else. Our flight for Rome left at 7 am the morning after St. Paddy's day which was a tough wake up call. We left UCD at 4 am to get to the airport and on our way to Italy!
