Our second stop on our spring break adventure was Florence, Italy. We took the train from Rome early Thursday morning into Florence. There we were greeted by one of my friends friend who was studying abroad in Florence. A bunch of people from Endicott were studying there, so pretty much all of us knew someone who was there. It was nice to see friends from school and hang out with them for a while. We did more hanging out with friends than sightseeing when we were there, but it was really refreshing to be there with some familiar faces. The first day we were there, we ate some delicious food and I met up with a friend from high school who was also studying abroad there. That night we went out to dinner and ate a traditional family style Italian meal and drank some great wine. The next day, we visited a beautiful garden and walked around there for a while. Then we ate some more great food and did a little more walking/sightseeing, that night we went out and experienced Florence night life before leaving for Paris the next morning.
